A houseboat on Dal Lake is one of the most memorable experiences you can give your children. Every morning a Shikara arrives to take the family across the lake — children can try paddling, spot kingfishers and herons, and explore the floating gardens where vegetables actually grow on water. Our Family Room is thoughtfully arranged to ensure parents have a comfortable double bed while children have their own single beds — all within the same beautifully carved room. The spacious attached bathroom means no morning queue. Meals are generous and family-friendly; our kitchen happily prepares milder options for younger guests who find Kashmiri spices new.
